FAI Results System
We built the FAI one platform for World Cup results across all CIAM disciplines, from event registration to final rankings, automating tedious work for officials.

The challenge
Organisers sent World Cup results for the CIAM disciplines as spreadsheets by email, and officials consolidated them by hand. Checking and validating them took weeks, so standings came out late and were hard to verify.
What we did
- We built one platform for all CIAM disciplines, with modular season-points rules that mirror each discipline's rulebook.
- Organisers submit their results on the platform, and the system checks and consolidates them.
- The system checks each pilot's licence status and spares officials the manual cross-checks.
- Officials see an audit trail of each change to a competitor or a result, and validate before anything goes public.
- Once officials validate, the system publishes the World Cup standings, with PDF and Excel export.
- Anyone can search public results and competitor profiles across disciplines and seasons.
- We opened an API for event software such as RotorHazard in drone racing, so organisers keep the tools they use today.
- Organisers find documentation and help inside the product.
The outcome
The FAI replaces years of spreadsheets with one system. In our tests, we processed a full F2A season in an afternoon, and standings go live as soon as officials validate the results. The system allowed officials to identify previous human errors that were difficult to find.
